Ddr Ram
I have ddr ram in my pc how do I know if I can use ddr2 or sd ram?
I want to upgrade my ram I have DDR 2.5 gigs currently and my board can handle 4gigs so i want to buy new ram but dont know how many pins mine are and if I cand buy ddr2 or sdram or i have to stik to the DDR ? Thanks

but remember that unless you have a 64-bit operating system only about 3.5 Gbs of ram will be recognized. So if you have Windows XP you will not be able to use 4 Gbs. You need Windows XP x64 or Windows Vista x64
