hard drive problem plz help?
Long story short Windows XP Pro SP3 Ok, 500GB Seagate hard drive. Windows XP sees the drive as 500 GB the hard drive has a partion on it about it i 100GB can not add new were leaving and nothing can be: size if I do I get the blue screen of death. then I have to reinstall windows again, I try many ed programs, I try gpart ed (love the program to use for all my computers) i try ed Windows disk manager, Seagate tools. ps now the same thing happing to my Seagate also has other their hard drive 500 GB and is No, I have virus scanned with everythiong thing under the sun and its a clean install of Windows, as I had to reinstall Windows a long time lol "http://www.hiren.info/pages/bootcd" Is one of the first things I tryed lol and it didn't work for me The wood is seen on the hard disk 500 GB at
If readers 7200.11, contact Seagate on its website. There are at least a BIOS bug in this series, there may be more. (They are big on setting one known - they pay shipping both ways and keep a backup disk in case of need it.)
