before i buy this i would like to know if i can put this in my ps3

ps3 consoles use a 2.5 inch sata hard drive running at 5400 rpm
you must use one with the same specs , 3.5 won't fit and 7200 rpm will overheat the system and void your warranty so make sure you get a 5400 rpm drive
