Is it possible to save YouTube videos on my hard dirve?
Yes it is. You can get an extension of your browser or separate program altogether if you do search the web. I'm sure someone else here post a link to a program to do as well. Alternatively, you can do the following: Go to the page where the video is played. Then, among the options at the top of the browser: View>> Perform a search page source and then, from this line, copy the code "swf". from and including the "?" excluding the first inverted comas. Now, as a web address, type: www.youtube.com / paste get_video then copied the code and press Enter. Download commence shortly.
