PC will not start and the CPU fan turns for a few seconds and then stops. What could be the problem?

basically I worked on homework and browing the internet and suddenly ... just nothing. after many attempts to start I failed. I open the case to see if I could see a problem and most obvious is that the CPU fan would spin for about one second, then stop spinning. I have recently updated my BIOS witch im hoping the problem is. if ideas on what to do?

Check your RAM, which can. It might just be that your processor is overheating. If you have a Celeron processor, and overheating is probably the problem
