Cable Management
How do you find an newly installed internal HDD using Windows Disk Management function?
I just installed what used to be an external HDD into my tower PC. There are no jumpers set in the back and it connects using a SATA cable. For some reason, it won't show up in Disk Management so I can format it and use it. Request assistance.
it should show up in My Computer. Then you can right click on it and press format and choose how you wish to format it. If this and Disk Management can't find it then perhaps it wasn't installed correctly or it has a defect.
